if someone is browsing your phone and you get a text there are two options given “close” or “view” if you click “view” it goes into the text without asking for a passcode so be careful. if you click “close” then click the text app it is protected or if your phone is off it tells you there is a message but it is protected, it only seems to happen when the phone is on and there is the option to just “view” so be careful if a friend is browsing your phone and an incoming text is sent you may be in trouble if it’s something that supposed to be private!
You can disable text preview in settings if this is an issue for you.
I tried Lockdown 6.2 on my iPhone 3GS “3.1.2″ and it is not working at all
When I search on my iPhone it brings up people on my contacts and u can go to your messages through your contacts without going through lockdown. Is there a way to prevent this?
